How to: Insert a vertical line between columns.
Solution:
Select the 'Line Between' check box in the 'Columns' dialog box.
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Page Layout'. (The document appears as it would appear when printed.)
2) Position the insertion point in the section containing the columns.
3) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Columns...'. (The Columns dialog box appears.)
4) Select the 'Line Between' check box.

5) Click 'OK'.
